Thank you for a thoughtful review of Ralph the man and the poet. He has emerged as a solid and powerful poet who writes with a social conscience and champions everyday people. He voices their pain, their courage and their quiet indifference to the hypocracies of those who inflict them. His poems are smoothe and have the ripple of a cascade. it is a pleasure to have him in Door County.. Phil Hansotia.

I only made to 2nd class scout
they busted our troop
for window-peeping
through the back windows
of the girls’ dance school
next door
but I learned the knots
and a lot more
with the BS

Absolutely love Ralph! He takes you into the deep water where you’re sometimes afraid to go. Thanks Norb, this was just what I needed today. Scout’s Honor has always been one of my favorites and it was good to go back and revisit it.
